...Sitting on the doorstep...

 Do you remember when you were a child , there was a strange joy in sitting on the door step ...

 watching the world go by

 ......... just musing about life and the universe!!!!!

 or maybe you had raced home and sat breathlessly down waiting for your mum - with all her grocery shopping....

 when she arrived you cheekily said- "where have you been, I've been here for AGES"...

 It is all very visual....isn't life beautiful/ zany and colourful....just like they are...

A Baker's Dozen.....

 Here's a great big  'big up' to my son-in-law....he graciously allowed me to take some pics as he slaved in the kitchen !!!!!
He is an Artisan Baker and one day his talents will be nationally recognised...in the meanwhile it is family and friends who are privileged to partake

A little of the rainbow !!!!!!

so we are now celebrating Summer day where I live and this is a selection of all the colours that are bursting forth from the earth ;

 I gave it the title- 'a little of the rainbow' because it encompasses all the colours (if you pay close attention) of the rainbow except orange......and I thought it appropriate

 who can resist strawberries to eat as well as being amazing to photograph :)

Echos of an Eco experience....week ending 14th February 2014!!!!!

We spent a really nice weekend, heading North and turning into the foothills towards Kosovo....

 the accommodation looked Alpine ; and it was the local haunt for a good night out!

 The people who live in this area are so friendly, we almost became nervous to venture out and meet folks in case they wanted us to join them for coffee/raki ....
