Anticipation and preparation....

 when I was preparing for the gourmet club that I am part of - my in-house photographer very kindly took these lovely shots.

 I thought to share them with you ....

 Wedding preparation and Christmas anticipation is part of the fun- don't you agree and it was the same for me; I really enjoyed the build up (apart from writing out the menus)

Without her help this Salmon en Croute would not have looked spectacular!!!!!

 I had a great afternoon with a lovely lady, who came to help me, she was brilliant and a star, hence she had the happy task of decorating the Summer pudding....

We had a 'full tummy' evening .....x

 We were travelling back from Greece to our home in Albania and this is by the lake in Pogradec
A beautiful bride and her groom waved to us as we passed by-wonderful......

 A tranquil lake when spring really turned to summer

 Lin is a village that time has forgotten and it is very special...

 Lace in it's natural environment!!!!!

 this lovely lady was sitting at the bottom of a little alleyway, shelling walnuts near the lakeside

 she has lived in this village all of her life and was generous enough to give to Jeff fruits of her toil

 any 'Foreigner' wandering around taking pictures is a novelty and we engaged in many conversations ...

...Sitting on the doorstep...

 Do you remember when you were a child , there was a strange joy in sitting on the door step ...

 watching the world go by

 ......... just musing about life and the universe!!!!!

 or maybe you had raced home and sat breathlessly down waiting for your mum - with all her grocery shopping....

 when she arrived you cheekily said- "where have you been, I've been here for AGES"...

 Here are my darlings ; doing the same thing ....only with their mummy an additional photo shoot follows!!!!

 Then they got into pulling faces

 It is all very visual....isn't life beautiful/ zany and colourful....just like they are...

A Baker's Dozen.....

 Here's a great big  'big up' to my son-in-law....he graciously allowed me to take some pics as he slaved in the kitchen !!!!!
He is an Artisan Baker and one day his talents will be nationally recognised...in the meanwhile it is family and friends who are privileged to partake
